STUDENT TO INDUSTRIALIST

We have signed the MOU with STED Kerala, Department of science and technology, Government of Kerala regarding the STUDENT TO INDUSTRIALIST program. This program might be first of its kind, where the students during their final year would be guided properly to become successful entrepreneurs. We provide them all kind of support to do their curriculum project and convert their project into a business venture, if it is commercially viable.

The first point which vedvistara would like to strictly observe during the progression of this project would be this- That this must not finally end up as a series of lectures describing what entrepreneurship is, how to determine the break even point, what the company act means etc.

We strongly insist on achieving two points. One is to deliver fundamentals to the students in the technical domains. The other is to help them materialize their concepts into ventures, not by ‘guiding’ them through lectures but through active participations from our side.

C-STED has always been keen on promoting these kinds of projects and this is the latest addition to the list of the various works, C-STED is into.

We strongly believe that, this modest beginning would create a few new technical companies which could be called as successful ones, by next year. This could be achieved only if the students, teachers and the society as a whole understand the authenticity of our mission.
